Art as I see it is for everyone not just those who can afford to spend thousands of pounds on it. Everyone has a unique view of the world around them and although we are looking at the same thing we all see it very differently coloured by our own experiences, perspectives and expectations.

Prints & Printed Items

I paint because I love it and the challenges it brings! The Scottish landscape inspires me with it’s ever changing colours and moods.

My aim is to capture the beauty of the landscape so that it can be enjoyed by a wider audience and preserved as a reminder of its important value.

Meet the Artist and her Team

Originally from Kirriemuir now living and working in Aberdeenshire, Christine Cochrane is a self-taught visual landscape artist.

After being made redundant in 2019 Christine decided to realise a lifelong ambition of creating art on a full-time basis.

Christine is assisted by Kirsty and Hamish two shy retiring pixies who are not keen to be in the limelight preferring to work in the back ground processing the orders for CMCo Art. They love to know what’s going on and have been known to hitch a ride with the postie or even a passing camper van. It’s been quite a challenge during the pandemic for them to get out and about.

Kirsty doesn’t much like wearing her pixie uniform, she refuses to wear her hat with silver bell as folks will know that she is around. She even added blutac to the silver bells on her magic silver boots to keep the bells quiet.

Hamish likes to go fishing and is often seen sitting on the river bank enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Sometimes he takes a walk on the golf course taking care to avoid the cows and their calves after a scary adventure with one in the past, however, that’s a story for another day.

If you would like to keep up with their antics sign up now for the monthly CMCo Art newsletter to find out the latest adventures of Christine and her wee pixies.
